Although a constant in my practice at this point, I here pushed technique and materiality. What started with partially mirrored glass panels and gloss prints on glass, ended in etchings on zinc. Zinc plates hold characteristics similar to mirrors. It is commonly used as a printing plate in combination with ink. Through etching into the material, the material and image become one. The work is distinguished from the bearer by merely its edges and corners.
