    2. Tomorrow We Reunite

Spectatorship, limitations, visibility In June 2023 I participated in a group show titled To Undiscovered Lands, curated by Yanna Kok, Léa Mainguy and Shino Matsuura. Bringing together research, visual work and performances its aim was to make visible the intangible borders that are omnipresent in todays society. For this exhibition I created five steel frames that each carry a glass panel. The panels are etched through screenprinting. Etching the glass enables the image to appear but also to disable the total transparency of the panel. By placing more panels in front of each other, different images get created and sometimes total opacity is achieved.  The metal frames are thin and strong, they stand out in the soft grass. Together with the glass panels the materials form a parallel with the surrounding buildings.
